Good value for a 'rondreis'

I was looking for a good deal on a 'rondreis' through Italy and found Oad. The 'vroegboekkorting' made the price very attractive compared to other providers I checked. I felt I got a lot for my money. The itinerary was packed, which I liked, as I wanted to see as much as possible. The accommodations were basic but clean. Overall, it was a solid trip for the price paid, definitely worth the investment for a comprehensive tour.

Amazing Disneyland trip!

We just got back from our 'Disneyland Paris arrangement' with Oad and it was fantastic! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The bus ride was comfortable, and the hotel was super close to the park. My kids had the best time, and so did I! We made so many memories. I can't wait to book another trip with Oad, maybe a 'kerstreis' next time. Definitely recommend them to everyone wanting a stress-free holiday!

Nice little weekend away

Went on a 'weekendje weg' with Oad to Bruges, just got back. It was pretty good! Everything was arranged, so no stress for me. The bus was comfy enough for the ride there and back. The hotel they picked was in a good spot. I just packed my bag and off I went. Would totally do another one of these if I need a quick break.

Consistent quality, returning customer

This was my third time booking with Oad, and once again, they delivered. I've previously done a 'riviercruise' and a 'wandelvakantie,' and this time it was a 'excursiereis' to the Mosel Valley. Their bus tours are always well-organized, and the guides are knowledgeable. The pick-up points are convenient, and the schedules are usually followed closely. I keep coming back because I know what to expect: a reliable, comfortable, and well-planned trip. The hotels are always clean and well-located. It's why I recommend them to friends looking for easy travel.

Smooth bus tour

Booked a 'busreis' to the Ardennes. Good price. Bus was on time. Hotel was fine. No issues.

planning a disney trip with oad for next summer. can i like, change the dates later if something comes up?

J June 2 months ago

Yeah, you can change your booking. There might be some fees depending on how close it is to departure, but it's possible.

They have a whole policy for changes. Best to check their site or just call them, it's usually less hassle than trying to figure it out yourself online.

Anyone know how much luggage you can bring on one of their bus tours? Thinking about a 2-week trip so I'll have a decent-sized suitcase.

A Amber L. 1 month ago

They have a pretty specific baggage service. It's usually one main suitcase and a small carry-on. They tell you the dimensions and weight limits when you book, don't worry.

I think it's one big bag and one small personal item, similar to flying but usually a bit more generous for the main bag. They handle it from the bus to your hotel room and back.

How reliable is Oad for a longer bus trip? Like, do they break down a lot or are their buses pretty modern?

A Amber 1 month ago

They're super reliable. I've done multiple trips, even a multi-country one, and never had an issue. Their buses are comfy too.

Nah, they're solid. They even own their own fleet of coaches so they're usually well-maintained. Always had good drivers too.

How do Oad's river cruises compare to like, Bolderman or Effeweg? Looking for a decent price and good service.

S Sam Reyes 1 month ago

Oad is generally a bit more premium feeling than Effeweg, I'd say. Bolderman is also good, but Oad often has really comprehensive packages, even if they're a bit more upfront.

I've done cruises with both Oad and Bolderman. Oad usually has better included excursions and the guides are really knowledgeable. Bolderman can be cheaper sometimes though.

Hey, thinking of booking a bus tour to Germany with Oad. Anyone know if they actually have a discount code floating around or is it just the early bird stuff?

S Steve V. 2 months ago

From what I've seen, it's mostly early booking or last minute deals. I got 75 euro off my last trip just by booking way ahead.

They do sometimes have specific action codes, but you usually find those buried in their newsletters or on special promo pages. You put it in right at the end of checkout.

Is Oad legit? Never heard of them before, looking at a river cruise but don't want to get scammed.

A Andre 2 months ago

Totally legit. They've been around for ages, like a hundred years or something. Plus, they're part of ANVR and SGR, which is basically an insurance for your trip money.

Yeah, they're good. My grandma always uses them for her bus tours. Never had an issue.
